New Magnolia Pearl Homestead



Hi everyone,
      Just wanted to share the "before" photos of our new place and we will post the "afters" in a few months when we renovate and "Magnolia Pearlize" the interiors. We've just finished the sewing house and will post photos in two weeks. Living here with John and Happy is just about as close to Heaven as I can get here on Earth. What a beautiful blessing this life is... "Thank you God"!

     P.S. We are getting ready for Marburger with our "Plantation" theme and are so excited about the one of a kind pieces and the fall line. Sneak peek coming soon, and there are talks about another fashion show here on our ranch when we get settled.

It looks like a little Fairy Tale
Cottage, something out of a storybook. I can just see the little stream or pond, ol fashion flowers on the banks, a garden made just for fairies, along with all the animals it will draw. A wildflower roof that the birds sing your sunset to sleep and the moon shines down a smile on your little heaven~it's u!

I forgot to ask you when you left your old home did you de-Magnolia it ?? did to take all your old remodel treasures with you like the claw foot tub and the kitchen appliances etc? just curious ? or did the new owners get it all ??

Congrats! I wanted to tell you, that I just bought my first MP piece. (They're beautiful bloomers, with pouchy pockets in front & back.) Now, I GET it. I understand, why your clothes get bid up so high on eBay. I understand, why women covet and collect your clothes. I've never felt such luscious linen, and I own a lot of natural fibers. The craftsmanship is incredible, too.

I also appreciate, the time and effort that you spend, designing and producing such gorgeous garments. Thanks, Robin!!!

Wow, I was reading Fiona & Twig's blog and came across your cute place for sale in Bandera. Then I went to your blog and noticed this charming new place you bought. Is it perhaps the "ex" 1865 Homestead?? If so, we had our wedding reception there in 1997! We went back there a couple of yrs and had a visit with Brenda and took her to lunch. I didn't know she was selling! If it ever becomes a rental again, please let me know. I adored this place and would love to return. My husband and I were married in the old Catholic chapel in Fredericksburg....it was a fun, romantic and charming locale. We're in Spicewood on a lil farm , outside of Austin.
You truly are blessed if this is the same place...
