Hi Everyone,
Some of you already know that my appendix ruptured two weeks ago and I was in the hospital for a humbling week. I'm now home recuperating much more slowly than I anticipated, so I know my lesson is patience and gratitude. I am so happy and lucky to be alive and though I am not doing cartwheels yet, life is a miracle and the sweetest gift ever! I am so grateful for all of you as well. Our "fall-two" line is moving slowly, but should be online soon. Yesterday, we received our copy of Where Women Create, featuring the Magnolia Pearl Design Studio and we wanted to share it. (click on image). A big hug and kiss to Jo for the beautiful story .
"Thank you" Jo, we love and appreciate you more than you know. We will also be in Jo's new publication; Where Women Cook next month, Dec. 1st and we are excited about that too!
Love, love, love to all of you,
Pearl.
PS --- A very special "Thank you" to Dr. Brian Given for saving my life -- literally! "God Bless you"!!!
And a special "Thank you" to Binky Morgan for your magic with the WWC shoot -- I LOVE you!

Dearest Pearlmaid!
Wow! You have been through much! I am so glad you got help so fast! What a blessing indeed! And yes, my friends who have had the same surgery are surprised at how much it does take out of you and you do need to give yourself time to heal and take things very slow. I had my scary emergency almost a year ago and what a relief to be at the ER at the right time! I thought I could run and jump and go back to what I was doing as well when I was released from the hospital, but I couldn't believe how incredibly worn out I was-just walking was so hard. Lucky me, my little nephew Sky gave me his bedroom(decorated it with lots of art just for me!)and brought me his favourite juice and other things he thought would help me get better(his favourite teddy bear too). Wishing you all the best in your healing time! Congrats on the wonderful article and the new fall line of clothes.
Please take care-hope you are eating mermaid soup!
love, merlemaid

p.s. I wore my Merlemaid dress to my show opening-it was divine indeed!
