Hi everyone,
Here's a sneak peek of the "Magnolia Pearl" Airstream, "our home away from home". It will be featured in Romantic Home Magazine August 2010 (available in stores this June). It will also be featured in Where Women Create magazine - "Thanks beautiful Jo!".
John and I tried to create something as close to "home" as we could in this sweet little space. I'm not a big traveler, so creating something familiar and cozy is important to me. We've had many fun journeys in our little trailer, and it always feels like home -- I even get watch the Andy Griffith Show! "Home" is a funny word, as I believe that it is not an address - It's a state of mind and heart. The Earth is our home, but something inside all of us compels us to create warm, familiar spaces the way a bird makes an amazing nest - How do they do that?
"Home is home be it ever so humble".
Love to all of you,
- Pearl.
"Where thou art; that is home." - Emily Dickenson
"Thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes."
- E.E. Cummings.

This can't be the inside of your airstream, it's absolutely beautiful. It really is hard to believe that it is because I've never an airstream as beautiful as this!

OMG, Robin,
I had no idea an Airstream could look like that! I must see all of it.
Can I come spend the night in it?!!!!
When I said you fell from the "creative tree" and hit every branch,
I didn't know just how many branches!!!!!!
You amaze me!
XOXOXXO,

Oh My Gosh Robin, this is amazing I can't wait to see it all in the mag! You have a gift of finding the most lush and sensuous fabrics. Where in the world did you get the wall coverings? Every video that you do just stuns me with it's beauty. When I see your studio, I'm assuming here, as the stage for them I could move right in and live happily ever after.

Blessings to you~ ~ ~Ahrisha~ ~

Will try to post again... the other disappeared into the vastness of cyberspace Pergatory! *smiles* Ah Robin, this reminds me of the Gypsy Vardos of my Mom's Country... it speaks to my Heart and Spirit. One day I hope to also trick out an Airstream for our travels... I so hate Motels/Hotels/conventional campers... I need a traveling home that reflects the Spirit of our permanent home. I'm sure you enjoy peaceful journeys in this beautiful space. Thank you for sharing such an intimate part of your extended home and life with us. I'll look forward to both magazines to see the whole package! Dawn
