Hi everyone,
It's that time of year I love - Hot tea in the early mornings on the porch with a cotton sweater, Ugg boots, and our two geese, Lilah and Arthur, of course. Summer is fading and it's bittersweet. Oh, how I love to swim in the river and play in the leaves. We are working hard on our " Victorian Fairy Wear" for the fall show at Marburger. Just thinking about the Warrenton / Round Top Antique Show gives me butterflies! It is the show of a lifetime. If you've never been, I recommend it as therapy! Texas is gorgeous in the fall -- Texas is "just" gorgeous, life is good, and we are all blessed. Hope to see you at the show - I'm off to make sweaters for the fairies!
Love, Pearl
"Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, for I would ride on the top of the disheveled tide, and upon the mountains like a flame. "
- William Butler Yeats

I have two Corgis, a Cardigan and a Pembroke, and legend says that Corgis were once fairy steeds. That the fairy saddle shape can still be seen on their fur. Because of this I am always on the lookout for fairys!

Looking forward to your new collection!

Ahhh... this is a perfect time of an era to create a faery line. It was about 100 years ago, as I recall, that the world of fae was on the minds of those here and in the USA in full swing. It had progressed before the turn of the century and led, of course, to the belle epoque. The splendor and magic of the time was lost of course with WWI and WWII but, it is happening again. A blessing truly, because it seems to go hand in hand with taking care of the green, the dew, the waters and eachother. I found your lovely blog and line when you were in Country Living and you are filled with a light I can see. I look forward to this and congratulations dear on the shows coming up! They are lucky to have your spirit there. Light and love,
Amy

Polly,
I don't know if you'll read this, but just "know" that you are coming to Marburger -- See yourself there dancing in our booth having the amazing time you deserve. Already thank God in advance for the blessed time. There's abundance in the universe, and sometimes we forget to claim it due to fear. Besides, your blogers are depending on you! We "will" look forward to seeing both of you soon.
LOVE,
Pearl
