Yesterday was Mother's Day,
the celebration of our birth mother. In reflecting the life and passing of my birth mother, I realized I'm not an orphan and that everyday is a celebration, for me, of my other Mother, EARTH, and what a mother she is! As I sit in the sunlight eating from our garden with the butterflies kissing me, I feel embraced while the birds serenade my worries away. Wherever you live, take time to sit quietly and let your "other" Mother embrace you with her perfect love. We can celebrate Mother's Day everyday by loving our beautiful Mother Earth - she so appreciates it. Wow, I'm blessed that the universe found me!
Love, Pearl
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
-Albert Einstein

Three years ago I went back home, with plans of seeing the island as a tourist will see it. We went all around the coast (4 hours worth of driving). We stop at many places and we have the whole place to enjoy since it was during December, which is consider low season in Puerto Rico. Just like you, I treasure and praise God for his creation. That day standing in front of that perfectly blue sea, ground full of seashells I remember saying to my husband in a challenging way(he is not a believer)" Stand here and tell me there is no God". His presence was so strong that I thought you will have to be dead not to feel it. Then again I'm such in tune with my emotions and my spirit. I understand what you are talking about.
Nature talks about His creator in a loud voice, we can hear it, if we listen. Love, Marta.

I am so glad you included our Earth. All women are Mothers in some magical way. They give birth to dreams and I hope the opening of your shop was like a gift to the universe. You send such beautiful "children" out to the world with your blessings and creations, and your golden thoughts. Keep knowing that gift.
Thanks dear from Amy.

Blessings to you as well, Robin. Thanks for such wonderful thoughts. I also wanted to thank you for the music you have on your blog. I have spent the evening with it playing in the background as I sew in my studio. Its textures and sounds mesh so perfectly with the fabrics of days gone by.
