Happy Holidays everyone,

These are trying times for so many and it's hard to predict our future - that's a given. I do know for sure, however, we live in the greatest Country on Earth and we are all blessed with so much in one way or another. If we stay focused on all that we are grateful for, the negativity of the media won't rob us of our happiness. God is good. There's plenty of abundance in this life. I'm grateful to be alive, and sharing this experience with all of you is "awesome"! Thank you.

Just found you and wanted to tell you how great your new book is! Don't know why I needed someone to tell me to decorate the way my soul tells me, but I did. Page after beautiful page fills me with inspiration! I will definitely have a "bit of velvet and a dash of lace" in every room as I decorate; I love it!!! Thanks for sharing your talents...

I adore your book too ~ such gorgeous style you have! You are so right about our country ~ seems as the media is always spouting such gloom and doom, and too many folks listen to them, don't they? Great post ~ Wishing you and yours a wonderful December and Christmas ~

Just found out this morning that Steve lost his job. So this was a meaningful post for me. It's not a surprise to God and we know He's taking care of us.

I was enjoying your book again this afternoon as we were up working on the 3rd floor "servant's quarters", as I lovingly refer to it.

Make your holidays beautiful =) Blessings.. Polly

What a powerful post - thanks for the reminder!
I just love that quote about us all being angels with only one wing - how true. You are a beautiful person.

Hi Robin,

My daughter and I are immersed in your book together...I have always loved the romantic "bohemian" style and had gotten away from it somewhat b/c my husband is a plain wood and no fru-fru man. However, I am going to slowly win him over and I am confident that before long our house will be a little more romantic and bohemian than it is right now. I also want to give you credit for inspiring me to do something I have wanted to do for awhile....I am opening my own boho style website....it can't compare to Magnolia Pearl by any means but it was one of those "have to do" things...good for the soul!

Loved your quote about one-winged angels....that may be why I'm always flying topsy-turvy! :) And I agree that we need to look past the media and remember what a wonderful country God has given us.

Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Patchouli Rose
