Dear friends,
Our beautiful, best friend, Humphrey of 16 years has left us for his next journey. He loved to fish, so we are sure he's fishing on this special, sunny day. If you ever doubt that there's a God, the love and perfection of a dog will mend that -- Only God could create something that "awesome"!
Thank you God!
Humphrey, you were the best dog and family ever. We will miss you so.
"May you run and never tire"!
Love,
Pearl and Johnny

Dearest Pearl & Johnny,
My heart goes out to you at the homegoing of Humprey. I know from your pictures he was a special memeber of your family.
My little maltese passed away at the age of 17 last year , my heart broke into a million little pieces.

Please know that we care, and will be thinking of you and your family during difficult time.

Humphrey was and is and ever shall be a special, special soul. Thank you Humphrey for all you gave, all you taught, and all you loved. I'm sure we shall meet again, until then your memory will be in our hearts, minds, and souls and your earthly presence will be sorely missed.

I agree...Only God can create something as awesome as a dog. The love they give is amazing. I think humans could learn a thing or two from them.

We lost a dog a couple summers back and I was surprised at how I missed her. I'm sorry for the loss you surely feel. You're right though... the way that dogs seem to love us conconditionally is just a small extension of God's love for us. Blessings... Polly

Oh I am so sorry. He looked like such a good dog. We've sent many beloved family dogs on their journey and it just never gets easier. He was a lucky boy to have such loving and creative "parents". Bless all of you...and think about visiting the animal shelter for another angel!

Hello Pearl and John. I met you both at Marburger in April and quickly became a repeat customer. I wanted to give you my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Humphrey. Just this morning we watched our Butch fall into his final sleep. He was 18 and a part of our family for 16 years. Our hearts are missing a piece today.

Blessings,

Shelley

Robin and Johnny- I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Humprey. You are such sweet people and I know how your heart must hurt for your special boy. May he run free at the rainbow bridge while waiting for his beloved people to join him. I hope to be able to get out to visit soon if it is convenient for you. Let me know if you can.
Love Tina

My heart is sad for your loss, but I love how you stated he's on to his next place. I would hope that for all my beloved family members that have left us too. As a Mom to 7 children and 10 four legged kids I'm giving everyone an extra hug in Humphrey's honor. So sorry for your loss, but happy for his time with you. Tracy at MadisonsManor.com

I haven't been here for some time ~ I am oh so sorry to hear about Humphrey. Bet he's caught quite a few "big fish" by now and running around with many four-legged friends. Lovely what you said about his next adventure.

He'll live in your hearts forever - what a sweet model in all those lovely photos. Pets touch our hearts like no one else can.

How blessed to have 16 years to share with that sweet member of your family.

What a beautiful tribute to your adored Humphrey. This post brought tears to my eyes. I'm going to copy it and save it on my computer, as my own sweet Beau is almost 13, and I am not too looking forward to his moving on.:)
I know I will draw strength from this post during that time. Thank you!

My belated condolences on the loss of the beautiful Humphrey. (I just discovered your website and YouTube videos (via Romantic Country mag), and am in love with all your world!) I just left a comment at YouTube sending a gazillion kisses for Humphrey ... I'm sure he got them all in Heaven. Your love for him in the video and photos is palpable, and I know just how that is. I always have a "tribe" of beloveds (currently including my Jasmine Camille Rose, pictured with me here), but my deep soul mate Beulah (half Chow Chow) (who "raised" Jasmine in great part) crossed over in June 2007 at age 17 ... and she had joined my home then in south Texas, in fact, when she was 1 year old, as did my beloved Blue Heeler, Buster (gone since 2003 at age 12). Obviously Texas grows magnificent dogs. I fell in love with your Humphrey on sight alone... what a pure old soul he was, yes? All best to you, dear one.
