Hi Everyone! Pearl here. I'm so excited about our new blog - a place to talk about the things that make my heart and your heart sing. On that note, most people know that I LOVE lace. I'm working like crazy on my vintage, one-of-a-kind lace line and having a blast doing it! To see more pictures and what I've been working on lately, click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Pearl, your work is phenomenal! I have also always LOVED lace. I have many pieces that my grandmother made as a young woman. I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful new bags also. Thank you for sharing your grand taste, many talents, and extreme creativity with all of us!

Pearl you've really brought out your creativeness
full force---Love it All ! I now live in North Pole, Alaska pop.1500. I am a native Dallasite from the beginning and knew all the 'good' places to get yard goods and such but living up here textiles are few and far between so I shop at thrift stores to get just the right fabrics ! It's treasure hunting fun. I miss all those laces and am now on SS which is a challenge, also.
keep up the great work. You inspire me !

I had saved the article about you from Mary Englebreit's Home Companion not knowing I would be "reintroduced" in 2007 with your cover story in Belle Armoire! Your photographs are stunning, the models are beautiful and your clothing is amazing. I've created my own collaged clothing for years and you are a kindred spirit. Best wishes and much happiness and success to you, Pearl. - Candi

Wow... your work continues to be so beautiful. I have been seeing and purchasing your items for sometime never realizing that we live in the same town...I am a artist as well and my Mother was a fabulous seamstress so my appreciation of what you create is profound. Maybe someday we'll run into each other...Congrats on the Belle Armoire Cover and article!

Pearl,

Congratulations on your new blog. I look forward to reading all the posts about your new crations and adventures. I wanted to thank you again for the beautiful bag and the kindess you showed to myself and my daughters at the Marburger show last Fall. I carry my bag everyday, when someone asks about it, which is very often, I love telling the story about how I came to have it and how the bag I bought came to be back with you as it should have been from the beginning.
Smiles,

Carol Casey

Hello Robin,
Had to stop in and tell you what an inspiration your work has been to me over the years as an artist. Although I don't do "sewing" work per se, the "bits and pieces" look that you are known for has most surely been reflected in some of my work. (even if I'm the only one that knows it) :)
So thrilled that we can see more of you and your work and world via your new blog and wonderful videos!!

Welcome to the "neighborhood"!

(so thrilled to hear of your blog I had to come out of my own self-imposed blog hiatus to say hello and welcome you)
Again, thrilled to my toes to see more of you!

Hello Beautiful Pearl,

I see those pictures and am reminded that whatever you do in life... it will always amaze me. You have this way of sending the rest of us into a trance of sheer bewilderment. I am there now. I can't wait to see Rosie, but I'm sure she will shrivel up next to your light... everything does. When are you gonna sign my book? I must have proof that I do, in fact, know you. My mother would loooove it, as I do! Much success to you and John in all the wonderful things you are working on now and ever in wonderland. I love and miss you both very much. I'm proud of you! I'm proud of all of you. It's perfect and I knew it would be. Peace- Winter
